Server Manager

The SOS Collab Server Manager is a Windows application for configuring the SOS Collab Servers. The Server Manager is included in the Server installation. The Server Manager can be launched in the following ways:

From the Start menu of the machine hosting the SOS Collab Primary Server. The Server Manager entry is found under Start->Programs->Source OffSite Collaborative Edition->SourceOffSite Collab Server Manager.

From the Service Manager in the Task Bar of the server machine. Right-click the Service Manager icon, then select Server Administration. This will launch the Server Manager.

Upon installation, SOS Collab creates an sosce_config_xml file in the SOS Collab Directory. This file provides default configuration information to the SOS Collab Server Manager and is edited by entries or changes made in the Server Configuration Manager.

(Please Note: Both the SOS Collab primary and web servers must be restarted after making any configuration changes in the Server Manager.)

The Server Configuration Manager has eight tabs to allow configuration of various aspects of the Server:

• SourceSafe
