The License tab allows you to enter serial numbers into the installed server, view information about their current license and activate serial numbers into permanent licenses.
The Licenses List is a list of the serial number associated with the license. The list includes:
· Customer ID – The unique customer ID.
· Count – The number of licenses associated with the serial number.
· License Type – Demo or Full.
· Expiration Date – The date on which this serial number expires if it is a demo or permanent if it is a full license.
· Activated – Y if the serial number has been activated or N if it has not been activated.
Click Add to bring up the Add Serial Number dialog box to add serial numbers. Paste the serial number received from SourceGear into the text box.
Click OK to enter the number. The serial number will immediately be included in the serial number list.
Delete
Click Delete to delete the selected serial number.
Click View License to bring up the selected serial number in a dialog box that allows you to copy the number.
If no license key exists or there are any non-demo serial numbers not activated, click Activate Licenses to bring up the Activate License dialog box.
If there is already a license key, the button will be Reactivate Licenses. This will happen when you delete a serial number or add a serial number which require a new license key to be become activated.
Deactivate License
Click Deactivate License to bring up the Deactivate Licenses dialog box for the selected serial number.
The Total Permanent Licenses displays how many licenses there are among all the activated serial numbers. It does not list demo or temporary licenses.
Number of current active users
The Number of current active users displays the active users that are currently defined in Vault.
