Project Groups

The Groups listed on the Groups page in the Project Admin section are specific to the selected current project. These groups help define access to project data for a set of users such as managers, development team members, QA or marketing members, etc.

To access the groups page click the Groups link from a Project Admin menu sidebar. System Admins and Admins for the selected project can modify the Project’s groups.

When a Project is created, two groups are automatically created for that project: a Project Admin group and a Developers group. By default, the Project Admin group has Read/Modify/Administer rights to the project and the Development group has Read/Modify rights.

Any number of other groups can also be created and associated with a project.

When a new group is created, it has no default security rights. Security rights can be defined for the group on the Security page.
