To access the Database page, click the Database link from the Administrator menu sidebar. You must be an Admin user or member of the Admin Group to modify the database fields.
Dragnet is installed with default values for certain drop down lists that appear in the Add and Modify Item pages and Query Items pages. Those fields are
▪ Type
▪ Status
▪ Priority
▪ Platform
▪ Time Estimate
The values for these fields can be added, modified or deleted. If the field is used in other parts of the system or are used as default values, then the values can be modified but not deleted.
There are also two custom field labels that can be configured from this page.
Database Fields
Every project that is created will use the database field values configured here for Type, Status, Priority, Time Estimate and Platform.
Adding a Value
To add a new database field value, enter the new value in the text box located at the top of the associated database field table then click Add. The new value will appear in the associated table.
Modifying a Value
To modify a database field value, click the modify icon associated with the value you wish to modify. A text field, an update link and a cancel link will be displayed in the table row for that value. Make the change then click the update link.
Deleting a Value
To delete a database field value, click the delete icon associated with the value you wish to delete. You will be asked to confirm the deletion.
Default Values
The following table contains the default values of the database fields. The values in red are used by the system and can be modified but not deleted.

Custom Fields
The Custom Fields page allows you to name extra fields that can be displayed on the Add and Modify Item forms and Query forms. The values configured here for field label will be the label displayed for the “Custom” text fields.
Click the Modify icon to change the Custom Field to a text box. Enter the custom field label in the textbox. If you want the custom field displayed on the External Add page, check the checkbox in the Show for External Add column. If you want this field to be a required for the external page check the checkbox in the Required for External column. Click Update to make the changes. Click Cancel to cancel the modification.
