Customize Display

To customize the Item Tracking pages, click Display in the Preferences sidebar. The Display page can also be reached by clicking Customize on any query page, query result page or recent items page.

The Display page contains three sections: Start Page, Query, and Recent Items. Changes to each section will not take effect until Submit is clicked at the bottom of the page.

The settings for Start Page, Query and Recent are persistent and will be applied to all projects.

The Item Tracking Start page will be the first page displayed after you click on a project link from the Server Home page or when you select the Item Tracking tab. The choices for the start page are:

   Recent Items

   Add Items

   Query Items

   Summaries

   Open Items

   My Open Items

Select your start page from the Item Tracking Start Page drop down list. Recent Items is selected by default.

Query

The Query section allows you to choose which columns are listed in the query results, the Open and My Open items tables. The columns that can be displayed are:

   Description

   Details

   Date Created

   Date Modified

   Priority

   Status

   Type

   Assignee

   Category

   Version

   Project

   Milestone

   Time Estimate

   Reporter

   Last Commented

   Platform

Type, Description, Priority and Status are checked by default. The Item ID column is always displayed in the item tables so it is not listed as a column option.

Check the columns you want to be displayed for query results. To select the default settings, click Default.

Recent

The Recent section allows you to choose which columns are listed and the number of rows displayed in the Recent items and My Recent items tables. The columns that can be displayed are:

   Description

   Date Created

   Date Modified

   Priority

   Status

   Type

   Assignee

   Category

   Modified

   Version

   Project

   Milestone

   Time Estimate

   Reporter

   Last Commented

   Created

   Platform

Check the columns you want displayed for the Recent items tables. Enter the number of rows you want displayed in the Number of Rows textbox. Type, Description, Priority and Status are checked by default for the columns. The default number of rows displayed is eight.

The Item id is always listed in the Recent items tables and not listed as a column option. To select the default columns, click Default.

Click Submit to submit your display changes. If you reached the Display page by clicking a Customize button from a Query, Query Result or Recent page, you will be redirected back to that page updated with your changes.
