Discussion Topics

The Discussion Topics page is the first view presented when you access Discussion. It lists only the initial discussion topics for a particular project. These topics are the first message of any thread.

All discussion topic subject lines are hyperlinked to their respective messages. Clicking on a subject line will take you to the Open Message page for that particular message.

Discussion topics are displayed in date order based on when the topic was posted with the most recent appearing on the top of the list. A day/month/year header separates each day's topics. Each topic line contains:

• Time posted on the SOS Collab System
• Author
• Subject line
• Date of the most recent reply with the name of its author
• Total number of messages on that topic

The top of the Discussion Topics page displays a navigation bar with the following items:

• New Topic -- Click on this button to post a new message topic. The Topic is the first message of any thread.
• Show Recent -- Click on this button to view the Discussion Messages page which displays all discussion messages (replies as well as topics).
• Pages (pagination links) -- SOS Collab displays 20 topics per page. If there are additional topics, click on the pagination links at the far right to move through the pages of topics.
