When performing basic source code control operations from within the IDE, an Advanced button appears on each of the applicable dialogs. Click Advanced to set Vault Professional’s command options for that particular command.

For example, click Advanced in the Visual Studio Check Out dialog to bring up the Vault ProfessionalCheck Out dialog. This allows you to set the available Vault Professional options relevant to the check out operation.
