InstallationDragnet Item Tracking provides access to item information in a standardized format. The item tracking system can be used to log bugs, feature requests, discussions and project tasks.
The Dragnet Item Tracking system:
▪ Provides developers and technical support staff with a permanent record of what is known about their software projects.
▪ Allows tracking of the status of bugs, feature requests, tasks and discussions and provides notification when that status changes.
▪ Gives the user quick access to open items assigned to them.
▪ Provides integration with Vault and SourceOffSite so developers can mark bugs as fixed and/or add comments to bugs when they check in code changes.
▪ Provides an essential tool for Development, Marketing, QA and Technical Support to collaborate in prioritizing bugs and in deciding which bugs to fix for a particular release.
▪ Provides an audit trail of all changes to a bug.
