The Batch Edit page allows you to modify several items in one transaction. The Batch Edit page can be accessed by clicking Batch Edit on any query result page. Batch Edit is also available from the Open Items and My Open Items pages.
The Batch Edit page contains two sections – Change All Items and Change Specific Items. Note that if items listed are associated with inactive milestones, you must assign them to an active milestone or (none) before those items can be re-opened.
The Change All Items section allows you to update all the items displayed in the items table at one time. Individual changes can be made to items from the Change Specific Items section of this page.
Select the Type, Status, Assignee, Category, Priority, Time Estimate and Platform from the dropdown lists. To leave a value unchanged, choose (Ignore) from the dropdown list. You can enter an optional change comment that will be applied to all the items in the Comment textbox.
Click Update All Items to submit your changes.
The Change Specific Items section allows you apply individual changes to items in a single transaction.
Select the Type, Status, Assignee, Category, Priority, Time Estimate and Platform from the dropdown lists. You can enter an optional change comment in the Comment textbox. The comment will be applied to the changed items.
Click Submit to update your specific items changes.
