Send Chat.Messages are composed in the Message Input Pane. If you wish to provide a link to a specific Bug or another Discussion message within your message Body, use Link Notation.
Once a chat message is composed, there are several ways to send it. The easiest
is to press Enter. Alternatively via their mouse, a user can click on the Send
button; they can click on the
Send icon in the Chat Toolbar; or they can choose Chat Menu > Tools >
Send Chat.
From any of these options, the user's message will be sent to the Chat queue and then posted to the Chat Pane.
