Vault Standard repositories may be accessed via WebDAV (Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning).

WebDAV allows Vault Standard-controlled files to be accessed from a wide range of clients and tools, including those in environments not explicitly supported by Vault Standard. For example, Vault Standard repositories can be mounted as "folders" from Mac OS, as Web Folders from Windows, and from editors and tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) that support WebDAV for file sharing and locking.
